Usually, when you were afiliated to Adsense, or other service, the postal code of your city or country was unreal, because wasn´t important for you in that moment. But when Adsense sent you the mail, to confirm your address, because you reached US$ 50, you tried to change the postal code and … surprise, where´s that?

The ZIP code is the system of postal codes used by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The name ZIP, an acronym for Zone Improvement Plan; in various countries is used postal code.
Now, people make transactions on line, some times include the obligatory use of this postal code in the address. In some countries of America, a long time ago, or always had been used the addresses “In the corner, where Doña Aminta lives, get straight, and then where´s the Antonio´s Billar… “. This is the reason why a lot of people doesn´t know the postal codes. The keywords in the search engines are this: “what´s the zip codes of Honduran cities?” or like it sounds in spanish, “Cual rayos es el código postal de mi ciudad?”.

This seems to be a serious problem, because this sites show different information:

Honduras this week this page shows the numbers of the towns, but not the abreviation of the departments. So Tegucigalpa is 1100
Quinee this page shows some rare list where Honduras is 00106-6000, maybe the range.

Officially the gobernment must to publish this information, because it exists and the foot of the Honduras This Week page says that is a mail sent by National Postal Service in Honduras. Use this page called addressdoctor, where can be found the postal codes of any city and any country, it´s reviewed in the Universal Postal Union.

So the example of Tegucigalpa is FM1100 (Francisco Morazan, city 1100), Yamaranguila is IT2104 (Intibuca, city 2104). The other problem have´s no solution, the space in the forms for the address doesn´t support the crazy descriptions used in Honduras, so you only will use the name of Barrio, street, house number and stop!. Good luck if only with this information the postman finds you.
